Friday January 10th – Friday Jan 17th 2020 or stay on for the exhibition and depart Sunday 19th January 2020.

Immerse yourself in the delights of Ubud, and be inspired by this creative workshop. Led by renowned printmaker Shana James.  Reconnect you with your creative self, while learning new skills and experiencing Balinese food and culture.

“It’s such a wonderful workshop and a great, creative way to start a New Year ♥️ Thank you Shana.”  Adele Frankel 2019 (attending for the second time)

“I highly recommend Shana James’ Lino printing workshop in Ubud, Bali. Every part of it was designed to rejuvenate the senses and reconnect to artistic practice. The time spent with like minded teachers and practitioners was invaluable.”

Letitia Morrow  Art Teacher, Mentone Girls’ Grammar School 2017

This workshop is an ideal forum to expand linocut skills while engaging in a new environment with students from diverse backgrounds. While beginners will be given step by step instruction more advanced students will be encouraged to work on their own ideas. The cultural input from Bali- this small but intensely artistic place is a fascinating exchange for those of us in the west who often have little knowledge of Asian cultures and philosophy. This input can be particularly invigorating for artists who are encouraged to further develop their own thematic concerns and to look at their own work in a new way with the benefit of this perspective.
